One Year Later

To mark my one year of blogging about “radical retirement,” I’m changing my theme to freshen up the look.

It’s been an amazing year, and the topper was learning yesterday that Thursday’s CT scan of my pancreas was clear, so eight years later I’m still here and healthy.

To celebrate, here are photos of a recent fall outing to McKinney Falls State Park, near Austin. Unfortunately we’re back in drought and there isn’t much water in the falls, but it was warm enough that the kids waded in Onion Creek, two days after Thanksgiving.
